Information for students
Student participants are eligible to reduced conference fee (upon providing a proof of their valid student status), and may expect lively encounters with their early-career peers as well as established senior scientists who all share enthusiasm for water fleas.
All student posters and oral presentaitons will be evaluated, and best presentations will be awarded at the closing ceremony.
Student support
Excellent students with very restricted budgets (especially from lower-income countries) may apply for financial support, which will consist of fully waived or strongly reduced conference fee.
To apply for the support, submit the following materials by email to the conference email (info@cladocera2024.org) until April 1st, with the subject “Student support application“:
- Abstract of your intended presentation (according to the Abstract template)
- Structured CV, with your key career achievements, including previous presentations and publications
- Motivation letter (max. 1 page), which also describes your funding need
